We are looking for an experienced CAD expert. The candidate will be part of a team in Technology department, where they will be working with some of our best CAD-experts in the company. These experts are located all over the world, as a part of global process and initiatives to strengthen and improve our projects.

How to contribute to our vision

To be successful in the role as a CAD expert, you will see yourself performing a broad variety of tasks as described below.

The main mission of that team is first of all t o ensure the right daily operation of design teams in ON/OF TE using CAD systems, providing technical support and training. Secondly is to ensure the continuous improvement detecting new use cases and improvements chances.

We mainly use NX, so a strong knowledge of this tool is necessary. You will be performing technical support to CAD users on our CAD environment, define procedures and guidelines and participate in harmonization of the CAD methodologies and guidelines across BUs. You will train others in the use of NX and use it when designing and drafting for WTG components. You will develop, support, train and document CAD systems and processes, as well as improve our current processes. With your knowledge you will deploy new functionalities and enhancements in our systems.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for a candidate with at least a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar. We expect you to have 5 + years of experience using CAD systems, especially NX and Catia. Exposure in Solid, Detailing, Assembly, Sheet metal, Surfacing are an advantage as well as a strong knowledge in dimensioning systems and tolerance chain analysis. Experience with PLM software like Teamcenter, Windchill and SAP is good to have, as well as knowledge in Kinematics and FE analysis. Preferably you have worked with turbines or in the Aerospace industry.

We are looking for a candidate who is analytical, logical and process oriented. Someone who is great at communicating and can work well in a team; someone with strong problem solving skills and a time-to-market orientation. You speak and write fluent English, and work well in a team.
