MEA HR Associate

Accountability:

  • Operationally support the MEA HQ HR team reporting into the MEA HR Manager

Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations
  • Organizing onboarding for new hires
  • Processing payroll
  • Facilitate communication within the organization: internal announcements…
  • Manage relationship with external suppliers/vendors (medical insurance, immigration, free zone…)
  • Support performance management processes (ad-hoc guidance, arrange trainings, systems…)
  • Prepare HR documentation (employment contracts & amendments, salary certificates, NOCs…)
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, pay and benefit administrations by performing periodic audits
  • Maintain accurate and up to date HR systems, files, data, policies, org charts and processes
  • Prepare HR metrics
  • Answer employee queries
  • Assist with planning and execution of special events
  • Talent Acquisition
  • Source and select candidates
  • Operational process execution (job posting, arrange interviews, monitoring and control requisitions in WD, keep track of feedback, perform reference checks, set new hires in systems…)
  • Ensure job descriptions for all positions are written and up to date and graded when required
  • Produce specific TA Metrics for the site/sub-region for quarterly and annual TA business reviews
  • Update HC phasing file
  • Monitor headcount changes across the region and update files accordingly
  • Provide training on talent acquisition tools and processes as needed to hiring managers and HRBPs
  • Manage relationship with external vendors (recruitment companies, assessment providers…)
  • Support the region in Employer branding activities including content generation, participating in monthly Regional Content Lead calls.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in HR or Business
  • 3+ years of experience in HR and or Talent Acquisition
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
  • Experience in Workday is preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Visio is a plus
