What will you be doing as a Shift Leader – Thrace Plant

The core focus of this role is is responsible for directing and coordinating all production operations continuously and safely, ensuring the manufacturing process meets the company’s strict parameters for volume, product quality, cost-efficiency, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.

This should be completed through the following activities:

Responsibilities:

• Leading and organizing daily activities for production and logistics teams while managing shift schedules, attendance and workforce performance.
• Overseeing plant operations across silos, extraction, refinery and utilities through control room supervision and field inspections.
• Ensuring efficient use of resources, equipment and utilities while maintaining optimal production performance and cost efficiency.
• Coordinating raw material handling, stock control and quality monitoring to ensure compliance with commercial and quality standards.
• Managing safety, emergency response and work permits (including LOTO), ensuring full compliance with health, safety and environmental policies.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating maintenance and applying root‑cause analysis to optimize operations.

What you can bring to the role:

• University Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial) OR an advanced Vocational/Technical College diploma.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in an industrial manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven management experience leading teams of 10+ people in a shift-based, continuous production environment.
• Strong working knowledge of global standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, FSSC 22000, and HACCP.
• Electrical accreditation, ATEX/Explosion hazard training, and certified First Aid readiness.
• Proficiency in CMMS (e.g., SAP), SCADA/Control Room operations, and Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate to Advanced level of English (B2 preferred).
