YOUR ROLE

As a Sales Development Senior Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the logistics sector, specifically focusing on Ground and Rail services. You will work closely with the sales and business development teams to implement strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the client base and enhancing customer relations.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Identify and engage potential clients through research, market analysis, and lead generation activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor sales proposals and presentations that meet client needs.
  • Support senior management in creating and executing sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and establish new contacts.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Proven experience in sales development or business development, preferably within logistics or related industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office applications.
