Job Description
- Generating Sales: Develop and execute strategies to drive food and beverage sales, focusing on both individual guests and group bookings.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses to promote our dining offerings and secure bookings.
- Menu Promotion: Work closely with our culinary team to promote seasonal menus, special promotions, and unique dining experiences.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new sales opportunities.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and presentations to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food & beverage sales, hospitality sales, or a similar commercial role.
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, hotels, and event catering.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and develop long-term client relationships.
- Confident in conducting client meetings, presentations, and venue show-rounds.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and enquiries simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of pricing, margins, and revenue management.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven approach to work.
- Ability to work collaboratively with operations, marketing, and events teams.
- Flexible approach with the ability to work occasional evenings or weekends when required.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional client experiences.
