Software Test Engineers are involved in the testing of our web and mobile projects, executing manual functional tests and setting up test automations both for front-end and back-end functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Project Managers and Analysts to create thorough testing plans and scenarios for manual and automated testing
- Analyze, learn and integrate new automated testing frameworks
- Create various forms of automated testing, of medium to high complexity
- Exercise manual and automated security tests in order to find gaps in security coverage
- Solve complex testing issues
- Monitor state of quality, raising awareness and resolution of gaps in quality
- Be proactive in identifying issues and solutions that help in improving Software Quality
Desired Skills & Expertise
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer / Software Test Engineer
- Knowledge on automated testing frameworks and languages (Selenium WebDriver, Appium, jUnit, Cucumber, etc.)
- Demonstrable experience creating and maintaining automated test suites
- Experience with RESTful Web services Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex problems and propose practical solutions
