Service Sales Engineer is member of End User Sales team (of the LD / the Service Station). Achieves targets set by Head of End User Sales, based on LD strategy. Delivers appropriate market coverage for new business end user influencing and service sales in his assigned territory IA/IATU/7712 – Turbocharging Service. Provides alignment with existing OEM and End User Agreements. Accountable for owner decisions in favor of ABB in new business and service revenue and margin in his assigned territory / segment / customer group. Builds professional long-term relationships with his assigned customer base.
Reporting to the Head of End User Sales, at Global Grade 14.
The location is Turkey/Istanbul/Tuzla.

Your responsibilities

  • EXECUTION
  • Execute sales strategies, sales plans and sales support activities plans in his assigned territory / segment / customer group. Deliver on sales targets, margin and incentive targets, customer visit plan, customer communication and events plan). Attend trainings assigned.
  • communicate and coordinate with Operations, Business Development, Market Communication and Technical Advisor as required
  • To be competent in promoting any current service offering or future offerings in order to match the right offering to customers via Pain & Gain workshops conducted with . Operations, Business Development, Market Communication and Technical Advisor as required
  • Drive sales of services and service products such as fleet & maintenance agreements and OPAC as well as end user decisions to specify ABB t/cs for their newbuilding projects to capture full market potential
  • Build long term relationships with assigned customers at all levels, explore new business opportunities & generate new installed base, or market share by influencing through key decision processes
  • Ensure adherence to existing rules and policies such as Circular Letters and Compliance
  • Check and if necessary Trigger and Ensure: Partner Approval, Global & Local Risk Reviews, are completed prior to any transaction with 3rd parties.
  • In times of need Support Operations in quotation preparation.
  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
  • Support market intelligence and business development projects as required to drive the growth of the business
  • Share information gained from customer visits as part of market intelligence input
  • Support Business Development as required to achieve overall (LD /Service Station) goals
  • Update customer database (ATURB)
  • MONITORING
  • Monitor & verify major customer complaints & claims, coordinate with other functions to develop solution. Support definition / implementation of corrective actions
  • Review, monitor & evaluate performance of assigned customer accounts
  • Responsible for assigned sales budget, margin and market share.
  • Monitor CCRP.

Your background

  • Engineering bachelor or master degree.
  • 2-5 years experience in Sales and Marketing fields.
  • Good Command of written and spoken English.
  • Fluent usage of Turkish language.
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills.
  • Teamwork oriented.
