Trendyol is aiming to develop a world-class e-commerce platform and we are undertaking a multi-year effort to achieve this goal. We are seeking entrepreneurial candidates to join a team, dedicated to defining the customer experience for our international customers across domains such as search & discovery, payments and supply chain.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving several projects that are part of this multi-year vision. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent business judgement and a track record of delivering high quality products to customers. You possess strong project management skills, a high degree of ownership and integrity, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and are a great team player. In this role, you will partner closely with technology & engineering, product development, operations, legal, and marketing stakeholders to define and deliver products that will delight customers.
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
5+ years of experience with end-to-end product delivery.
5+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience.
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition.
Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
Experience using large-scale analytics and data, both qualitative and quantitative, to prove business cases, shape product decisions, and measure results
Excellent collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels.
Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
Ability to effectively work with remote teams across continents and deliver results.
Highly polished communication skills – speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating.
Working in a start-up or early stage environment where you will be defining best practice for your function.
Good command of English and German.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Product Delivery: Define and own the short and long-term product roadmap, including business cases, user stories, customer experience, and rapid delivery in an agile environment.
Benchmark best in class customer journeys and develop a working backwards plan to achieve the same in phases. Innovate to create new benchmarks in customer experience.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Foster tight partnerships with key stakeholders. This role in particular requires strong relationships with peers on several teams.
Technical Fluency: You understand how your products get built and can use that knowledge to work with your global product and engineering partners to make smart decisions.
Communication: Proactively communicate your teams’ plans and accomplishments in both verbal and written narratives to ensure alignment with senior leadership and technical partners.
Anticipate customer expectations, changing customer perceptions and share insight with the leadership team.
Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of site features that provide Trendyol customers with an unparalleled shopping experience.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines.
