For our Onshore Electrical team in Izmir, we are looking to add an EPLAN Expert to our international team of experts. You will be working in close collaboration with several teams located in Spain, Denmark, Turkey, and India.
How to contribute to our vision
Your solutions are characterized by an end-to end thinking, safety and cost mindset and you know what it takes to make things work in the field. Your main responsibilities consist of design and configuration of the LV auxiliary system, control cabinets, cables, and sensors for our onshore wind turbines.
You will have design responsibility for documentation and validation, developing and testing electrical components, while identifying and selecting them together with other materials, parts, and semi-products appropriate for system design. You will analyze the main requirements for new component replacing obsolete components (PLC, breakers, power supplies etc.)
Furthermore, you will calculate and creates final layout including documentation and specification for parts, assemblies, or finished products. You will be working closely with our auxiliary design team as well as provide support towards production and specialized technical support and troubleshooting in relation to the auxiliary system.
As an EPLAN Expert, you will also create electrical models and tolerance analyses to simulate electrical design concepts and conduct technical risk assessments and failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA).
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for a person with bachelors or master’s degree in electrical engineering with experience in electrical design of electrical cabinets and electrical systems. You possess good knowledge of design and manufacturing processes of electrical cabinets, LV cables, as well as busbar systems, and are familiar with the international standards and best practices related to cabinet design, such as IEC 61439 series and IEC 60204-1.
In this role, you will be using a variety of different software tools, therefore you should be an advanced user of the following tools: EPLAN, EECONE, SEE Electrical and PLM Teamcenter. In addition, it is an advantage if you have worked with ETAP and System Engineering, such as RDS-PP before.
You are the person we are looking for, if you are structured, innovative and your approach to problem solving is both technically sound and commercially viable. You have the ability to interface at all levels in a dynamic environment and you possess strong communication skills, as the role requires a lot of interaction among various stakeholders.
It is a necessity to have a high level of English, both written and verbal.
