Project Logistics Operational Care Supervisor

We are looking fo a Project Logistics Operational Care Supervisor with strong problem solving mentality, customer oriented and proactive attitude.

Your Role

As Project Logistics Operational Care Supervisor, you will maintain customer retention & satisfaction in order to answer all the project requirements for on-going & new project cargo shipments.

Your Responsibilities

• To provide operation and admin management expertise so as to strenghten the upcoming Project Cargo operations and ensure that all aspects of the project are delivered in an acccurate and efficient manner.
• To manage all operational and service level requirements of the project are achieved as per K+N FCPA requirements.
• To ensure Project Cargo shipment processing is executed in line with quality and safety procedures as per Kuehne + Nagel standards.
• To ensure all Projects Logistics appealed EPC,O&G and Mining Investments in Turkey are in radar of Prom Turkey. Laise and share Sales leads to other KN offices upon need.
• Ability to manage all kinds of Operational Supervision and customer visits in Turkey and abroad for new/Ongoing Project Cargos.
• Port supervision and operational supervision must be conducted as per the naturality of this responsibility.
• To manage the approval process of new Projects Logistics Vendors as per the requirements of bussiness.
• Ensure all Project staff in Turkey are in line with buying & negotiation phase with the requirement Project Cargo attitude.
• Comprehend customer’s quick needs for Seagoing and Trucking operations based on requirements, evaluate and determine the exact Cargo spesifications in order to manage the procurement of the services from Kuehne+Nagel’s approved sub-contractors.
• Execute local and country to country pricing, Validate adherence to standards and pricing insructions, roll-up bid input into country response, initiates risk taking process (Escalation to linemanager), accept and process customer’s and overseas office’s shipment orders, provide spot quotations and perform up and cross selling on inbound customer calls.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or Project Logistics field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sea logistics, experience in road logistics, air logistics, oil&gas, industrial projects is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Advance level of English is a must
