Power System Consultant (fixed-term contract base)

For our Digital Grid Business Unit, we are looking for Power System Consultants who will be responsible for large-scale network simulations, analysis and protection coordination studies of power utilities and industries The person who will be hired in this role will work on a contract base and on a fixed term contract.
What are my responsibilities?
  • Simulation and steady state analysis of electrical networks
  • Carrying out protection coordination studies on large scale networks, determination of protection relay settings.
  • Establish excellent customer relations and analyzes customer’s business requirements.
  • Develops and apply methodologies to meet customer needs.
  • Compliance with regulations and company policies.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
  • Bachelor Degreee in Electrical Engineering, MSc. degree in Electrical Power System Engineering is an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a power system consultant, completed at least 3 protection coordination studies on utility networks.
  • Practical experience in using advanced power system analysis tools. (PSS Sincal, etc.) Experience in PSS CAPE software shall be an asset.
  • Knowledge of transient stability studies shall be an asset
  • Very good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Advance level of MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel); programming skills is an asset.
What else do I need to know?
  • No restriction for travelling abroad.
