Managing operational aspects of the NTS project with a view to ensure full compliance with the terms and conditions of concerned agreements signed with the donors and implementing partners.
- Check and evaluate the desktop assessment of NTS Teams,
- Documentation check and verification of NTS results,
- Timely and high-quality reporting by collating and analyzing NTS activity results and inputs from the Survey Teams’ activity in the field and incorporating NTS data, following up on comments of the project team, and finalizing the NTS reports,
- Assure quality of the NTS Report in accordance with the NTS Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) promulgated by TURMAC,
- Establish and maintain good relations, partnerships with TURMAC, Local Public/Military Authorities and focusing on achievement of the project results and outcomes,
- Prepares inputs to reports and compile project reports according to the project document,
- Provide data and information by other authorities, agencies and organizations as required,
Organizing and facilitating the NTS work of Survey Teams through the provision of timely operational and managerial guidance
- Preparation of time plans and the field schedules for the NTS Teams activities for the field,
- Modification of time plan and field schedule when required through coordination with civilian and military institution as necessary,
- Ensuring project resources are used efficiently and effectively as per the approved time plans and the field schedules, through maintaining day-to-day relations with the local public/military authorities, TURMAC and NTS Teams,
- Monitoring activities of the NTS Teams in the field.
Establishment and maintenance of project-based institutional knowledge
- Review NTS SOPs and suggest and update as necessary,
- Identification and synthesis of best practices, lessons learned and enhancing survey methodologies.
- When needed fulfill additional tasks, as required.
- When needed fulfill additional tasks as directed by the Project Manager.

Min. Academic Education
Bachelor’s degree in civil or military engineering, management, or business administration,
Min. Years of Relevant Work Experience
- At least 4 years of professional experience in Military Engineering, Mine Action and Explosive Ordnance Disposal,
- At least 4 years of experience in operational management with a proven track record,
- At least 2 years of experience in applying in-depth knowledge of International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) and their application
Required Skills and competencies
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications and Spreadsheets,
- GIS programs such as QGIS, ArcVIEW, GRASS GIS, etc.,
- Valid driving license

Excellent knowledge of English and Turkish,
Professional Certificates
Any certificate showing Military Engineering, Mine Action and Explosive Ordance Disposal background and competency is an asset
