Trendyol is expanding internationally and we are undertaking a multi-year effort to achieve this goal. We are seeking experienced digital marketers, to drive the marketing strategy for customer acquisition, traffic and overall visibility for our websites. This role will work with the International Head of Marketing and our central marketing team in Turkey, to define, create and implement effective marketing campaign strategies in all specific performance acquisition channels across search engines, social, and display advertising and explore opportunities that will include offline marketing channels.
The ideal candidate must have a track record of operational excellence and using analytics to drive results. This person must be passionate about measuring performance and ROI and for understanding what drives consumer behavior with the experience to turn those learnings into action. They will be known for trying new things and identifying areas of opportunity with an eye on scalability and impactful change. They will have a demonstrated ability to be creative, to initiate, and launch effective marketing programs, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and support aggressive timelines.
They will possess strong project management skills, a high degree of ownership and integrity, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and are a great team player. In this role, they will partner closely with technology & engineering, product development, operations, legal, and marketing stakeholders to define and deliver products that will delight customers.
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
5+ years of experience in digital marketing in Europe.
Experience managing competing priorities and using metrics to drive business decisions.
Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with speed and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Experience using large-scale analytics and data, both qualitative and quantitative, to prove business cases, measure campaign performance, and measure results.
Excellent collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels.
Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
Ability to effectively work with remote teams across continents and deliver results.
Highly polished communication skills – speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating.
Working in a start-up or early stage environment where you will be defining best practice for your function.
Good command of English and German.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Drive traffic to our websites working with our central marketing teams and own all tools which help with customer acquisition. Own all key traffic drivers and possess a deep understanding of all traffic-driving mechanisms (Search, Affiliates, Email, SEO etc.). Actively engage in optimization of those channels for the business.
Work with cross functional internal teams such as our central marketing and growth teams apart from tech teams, to define, drive, and launch improvements to the shopping experience, with significant impact on customer experience and Trendyol’s business.
Own creation of marketing programs, and multiple key traffic drivers, to acquire new customers.
Conceptualize, design and execute online and offline marketing initiatives to extend awareness of our products on and off of Trendyol.
Develop, test, and execute aggressive multi-channel marketing plans with related teams to drive customer acquisition.
Conduct in-depth analyses to determine ROAS (return on advertising spend) and to continuously improve programs and site initiatives.
Develop style guidelines, merchandising calendars, promotions, and packages.
Understand and use merchandising and customer-facing metrics to guide decision making.
Proactively communicate your accomplishments in both verbal and written narratives to ensure alignment with senior leadership and technical partners.
Anticipate customer expectations, changing customer perceptions and share insight with the leadership team
