SIMIT & CHAI is a Bakery /Brunch Restaurant that serves on the go people of Toronto with Authentic Turkish Pastries, SIMIT sandwiches and brunch items. All our products are made in our commissary Kitchen in Leslieville and delivered to PASAJ and SIMIT & CHAI.
Ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing daily operation of the business. They will be responsible for maintaining our standard of work from existing employees and will be implementing those standarts when hiring new team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to our close-knit team
- Managing the team and conducting regular check-ins with all staff
- Monitoring business flow and efficiently scheduling staff
- Continual overseeing and coaching of staff to encourage their learning and growth, drive their development
- Ensuring that the quality and consistency of our food and beverages uphold the highest standards,
- Maintain high levels of quality control, hygiene, health and safety; uphold professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards
- Establishing and enforcing superior customer experience
Qualifications
- Management and Customer Service experience Strong administrative skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead
- Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting Strong communications skills
