PASAJ is looking to hire Line Cooks. We are a Brunch restaurant / Bakery specializing Turkish /North American fusion cusine and Turkish Pastries. As a candidate you’ll be responsible for;
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Preparing and plating food by the methods specified in a timely manner
- Maintaining a clean work station throughout service
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow and complete daily prep lists made by chefs
- Basic prep duties such as preparing sauces, chopping vegetables, herbs, portion deli, making batter etc.
- Follow the first in first out (FIFO) method to maximize freshness – label and store food properly
- Manage new shipments of food and organize all orders as they arrive
We expect you to;
- Have at least 2 years experience in a restaurant kitchen
- Have a Food Handler Certificate
- Be Punctual
- Be Reliable
- Be a Team player
- Be able to lift 20lbs
- Be able to work standing up for the entire shift
We’ll be conducting interviews in 2 phases;
1. Zoom interview
2. Staj ( in person trial for hands on kitchen tasks) apx 1 hr

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
