Key Account Manager – Istanbul

Position:

For our Sales Team in Istanbul HUB, we are looking for a Key Account Manager who follows the strategic management of Customers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Developing sales growth strategies and directly managing customers assigned and is responsible for the implementation of defined Joint business plans.
  • Managing budget spending in line with category Key Business Drivers and category priorities, the KAM also tracks and ensures the spending is within budget limits. He / She also tracks and supports F&A while managing Account Receivables for each customer
  • Managing partnership with customers, sales plan roll-out based on the directions given by the Channel Manager, in compliance with the commercial strategy set by the Fater Trade Marketing Department.
  • Plans/aligns/execute customer’s plan to develop the brand building in the respective banners.
  • Monitors instore executions according to company strategies, setting regular meetings with Merchandising Team (Coordinators, Supervisors, and Merchandisers) to ensure Fater’s shelving standards, as well as POS materials and displays, are properly presented in the stores in line with customer’s aligned plans
  • Negotiation with assigned customers to finalize commercial agreements, based on Fater business policies and sales fundamentals, involving the Channel Manager.
  • Monitors and reports competitive intelligence, share and distribution opportunities

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Faculty of Economics or similar fields;
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in Customer and Distributor Management preferably in FMCG sector
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills (fluency in English and Turkish mother tongue)
  • Team player with high Sales and Leadership skills
  • Willing & able to travel frequently. B-class driving license
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Problem solver with strong strategic and analytical thinking
  • Eager to learn, determined, achievement and result oriented personality with high energy level
