JR HR Officer

If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our HR Operations Team that provides services to our employees across Central & Eastern Europe (based in Turkey)

The Role

  • Responsible for workforce administration for assigned offices/Segments, including:
  • Performing HR transactions in all applicable HR systems
  • Supporting associate / manager inquiries and processing requests following the required process and procedure
  • Verifying local documentation as required
  • Providing support and guidance for the GHRS team in HR systems and processes
  • Adherence to metrics and SLAs where applicable
  • Draft standard correspondence throughout the employee life-cycle such as confirmation of employment and changes to terms and conditions.
  • Maintain hard & soft copy associate files, ensuring these are up-to-date and accessible to other members of the HR team when required
  • Liaise with payroll colleagues to ensure effective data transfer between the teams
  • Assist in the tailoring of HR communications to local business and cultural needs
  • Escalate issues or queries to HR Partners and/or Centers of Excellence (COEs) as needed
  • Coordinate with local Office Services, Finance and other Corporate colleagues as needed
  • Gather and provide input to COEs for HR programs and initiatives and participate in ad-hoc projects as and when required
  • HR Process development, improvement and harmonization in accordance with our global common model


The Requirements

  • Business level English both written and spoken, Turkish and additional Central or Eastern European language skills are a plus
  • Prior experience of performing data entry functions in a HR system
  • Awareness of local employment legislation and practices
  • Ability to work independently and function well in a team and matrix structure
  • Ability to multi-task and to be a resourceful and effective problem solver with attention to detail
  • Technical proficiency with HR databases and Microsoft applications
