About the Role

Senior Territory representative directly reports to Sales & Marketing Manager.
Senior Territory representative ensures the achievement of the sales targets of Turkey Peripheral Intervention Business. He / she is responsible for creating demand and selling.
He /she manages the vendors/distributors in the region in accordance with the determined strategies.

Specialized in Product / Solutions:

  • Identifying the clinical / technical customer needs and present the relevant solutions accordingly 
  • Closely tracking competitive environment and the recent market trends in the relevant care area/ areas and presenting to most up to date & accurate information and convenient solutions to the customer.
  • Responsible for giving product training to new team members

Realization of sales targets:

  • Ensuring Turkey Peripheral Intervention monthly, quarterly, yearly, by hospital and by distributor sales targets
  • Working according to pricing policy of the company and the business unit in order to help achieving margin targets.

Effective Account Management

  • Building long term relationships with his/her customers and is able to build and keep a successful customer satisfaction rate about Peripheral Intervention products and services.
  • Segmenting accounts based on BU needs and priorities with coaching
  • Identifying the key clinical and administrative decision makers and is able to successfully present BD solutions and products.
  • Conducting monthly product/solution presentations, promotions and trainings.
  • Conducting after sales technical application and clinical trainings to build best practices.
  • Contributing to account management strategies for respective BU

Effective Tender Management

  • Applying learnings into tendering processes and follows the procurement processes until the stage of demand creation and finalization and makes effective management to win the tender.
  • Working in coordination with the Operations Department and the Customer Care Department to ensure that the product is delivered on time and correctly.
  • Working in harmony with the tender law and principles of BD and works in cooperation with the Tender Department and Law department when deemed necessary. 
  • Having knowledge in tender legislation in general
  • Developing strategies and tactics that affect the entire business unit using tender legislation.

Effective Distributor Management

  • Managing the distributors effectively so that they are working aligned with BD Compliance Rules and relevant business unit targets
  • Tracking and managing the performance of distributors who are responsible in the region to reach Peripheral Intervention BU sales targets on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Contributing to distributor management strategies for respective BU
  • Consolidating DPMP files for respective BU

Timely and Accurate Reporting

  • Regularly receiving and reporting monthly sales forecasts, distributor stock levels, distributor site sales, device and sample usage reports, and weekly visit and activity reports.
  • Ensuring SFDC (salesforce.com) is regularly used for forecasting and reporting of daily activities
  • Being a point of contact for SFDC support for Territory Representatives
  • Being a Sales Council member

Working on Ethical Principles and Company Rules

  • Working in accordance with the laws of the United States and Turkey to which Turkey and BD are subject and Works in compliance with BD working principles, ensures that its team works within the framework of these rules
  • Working in cooperation with the Legal Department to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to minimize the legal risks of the company
  • Working in line with BD Way and company values; demonstrating examples of our values every day, everywhere in his / her own work  

About You

  • Has a bachelors degree.
  • Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare professional etc. background is an asset.
  • Must be able to get TCESIS license
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in medical device industry
  • Preferably experience in peripheral interventions area.
  • Preferably experience in Cardiovascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology
  • Proven record at territory & account/ distributor / tender management
  • Being an analytic thinker
  • Being able to work under own initiative to achieve personal sales objectives within defined timescales
  • Being a good team player, with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Has very good presentation skills
  • Intermediate level of English of both written and spoken English is a must
  • Be result oriented and agile
  • Being able to adapt change quickly
  • Customer oriented mindset
  • Flexible with travelling 
  • No military obligation for male candidates
  • Experienced in use of MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com is an asset
  • Valid driving license
