About this Position
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring transportation performance through KPI dashboards and driving productivity projects. You will work closely with warehouse teams to improve transportation processes and oversee outbound deliveries and returns. Additionally, you will support logistics purchasing in negotiations and optimize the distribution network for cost efficiency and customer service excellence.
What you´ll do
- Lead the performance management of transportation service providers by overseeing the preparation and analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly logistics KPI dashboards.
- Take ownership of productivity initiatives, applying continuous improvement (CI) methodologies to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization.
- Collaborate proactively with warehouse teams and site operations leaders to evaluate, standardize, and implement best-in-class transportation processes and procedures.
- Oversee outbound delivery and return operations to and from customers and other plants, ensuring seamless logistics execution.
- Partner with the logistics purchasing team to support contract negotiations and strategic agreements with transportation service providers.
- Developing and optimizing distribution network to ensure Henkel Turkey’s route to-market is cost effective and catalysis customer service excellence
- Ensure that all transportation operations align with corporate policies and standards, prioritizing service quality and compliance
- Manage and coach the transportation planning team, providing direction on effective planning practices and the use of specialized logistics tools.
What makes you a good fit
- BSc/BA in relevant areas
- 6 to 8 years of logistics experience in transporation area especially in a multinational company
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Advanced user of MS Office applications
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
