Job Description

Use your trade marketing skills to help shaping our global marketing agenda and develop regional trade marketing campaigns to help grow the love for the LEGO brand, our active share and consumer sales in Turkey!

Our amazing Marketing team is looking for its newest trade marketing expert. This role is key in driving Shopper agenda and understanding across functions in the broader LEGO organisation. Also this role will play an important part in helping the marketing team to lean in to a regional way of working while hands-on assisting the business unit in driving business-critical Shopper marketing plans.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and roll out strategies for lower Marketing funnel to make LEGO #1 choice for Shoppers in the BU
  • Collaborate with Regional Marketing team to drive Shopper agenda for the BU
  • Utilise shopper and retail insights and research to develop retail execution plans with the sales and brand teams, who serve the needs of the organization, as well as the retailer
  • Adapt global campaign materials as well as briefing and developing specific assets when necessary
  • Plan to a set calendar of campaigns and priorities and ensuring the target levels of executions are achieved each month.
  • Lead and develop the secondary placements strategy and process for the team
  • Evaluate key BTL campaigns to ensure we live a continuous improvement approach and achieve the strongest possible return on investment
  • Ensure strong collaboration with KAM and Merchandisers to drive excellence in execution and secure #1 LEGO presence in toy category in-store
  • Manage Trade marketing funds, striving for maximum effectiveness and with “more for less” mentality
  • Vendor management for TM activities

Do you have what it takes?

  • Work experience in trade marketing area, preferably at top FMCG Companies or retail category.
  • Analytical skills and ability to aggregate data from different sources into one comprehensive picture.
  • A collaborative approach with an ability to work with a wide range of partners
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Positive and effective team-player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced level of verbal and written English and good level of Turkish
