Key Responsibilities
- Understand the Request For Quotation (RFQ)/customer demands and distribute them to relevant departments
- Preparing the market & customer-oriented cost of sales (COS)
- Participating on negotiation meetings when required by region and successful concluding in order to secure the order and proceeding to all necessary actions to dispatch the order within the unit, including preparing the order sheet with all necessary data for distribution to all relevant departments
- Following up the tenders and encouraging customers for intermediate techno-commercial meetings with the aim to convince the customer about our solution in coordination with region
- Monitoring competition’s price and strategies with the support of the region.
- Disciplined usage of existing tools i.e. İnquiry statistics, SPEAK4GE,reference list KPIs for reporting purpose.
- Follow up to tenders closely and performed risk assessment with power transformer (PTR) to eliminate technical &commercial risks
- Strict on time transfer from commercial to project management (PM) to the power transformer (PTR) instructions
- Encourage the region sales team to achieve PL’s objectives.
- Analyzing of the orders in terms of technical and commercially and advice Region team to make corrections in contract to eliminate the risks and make proper transfer
- Aware of the company and local EHS policies, rules and standards. Showing exemplary behaviors on EHS. Coaching, supporting and monitoring of EHS implementations in his/her team and area of responsibility. Performing the preventive/corrective actions in collaboration with EHS team to avoid the accidents, incidents and environmental damages.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related areas such as commercial, tendering and project management
- Some financial knowledge of pricing, costing and product accounting
- Experience in carrying out market assessments and subsequently developing and implementing relevant commercial strategies that facilitate market penetration within the assigned countries
- Willing to reside in Kocaeli or Istanbul & work at Gebze plant at least 4 days per week
- Strong communication skills in English
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Second foreign language is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Market and business understanding with strategy building experience would be a big asset
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Track record of overachieving sales targets in responsible regions
- Established sales management skills
- Ability to coordinate several tenders simultaneously.
- Eagerness to expose to global working environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customer.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in office IT suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint
