Your mission:
We are looking for a visionary Supply Chain Director to lead the long-term Engineering strategy and drive functional excellence in executing our capital investment program, which has an annual spend of approximately $850 million. This strategic investment portfolio includes Greenfield factory developments, line expansions, productivity enhancements, and essential operational upgrades.
In this role, you will lead a team of Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to advance our regional capital agenda, with a strong focus on integrating Foods and Beverage technologies across processing, packaging, and warehousing. You will oversee execution governance and compliance, leveraging your subject matter expertise to deliver our functional objectives across EMEA.
The scope of this role spans approximately 116 Foods and Beverage facilities across diverse geographies. You will serve as the Engineering CoE lead for Capital Execution in manufacturing and warehousing, directly contributing to PepsiCo’s strategic priorities (“Big Rocks”). The portfolio includes execution across all food processing and beverage platforms, encompassing packaging, warehousing and associated automation, while also acting as a key liaison with cross-functional partners. Technical support may extend to third-party operations including Co-Manufacturers, Joint Ventures, FOSOs, and FOBOs as needed.

Responsibilities
Your day to day with us:
- Oversee the full project execution cycle from detailed design through implementation, in close collaboration with Design, Project Management, cross-functional teams, and Operating Units (OUs).
- Establish robust standards for OEM capital execution across our Snacks and Beverage businesses, covering Process, Packaging, and Warehousing. This includes governance frameworks, modelling tools, digital information portals, and supplier agreements.
- Manage OEM-specific installation programs & reporting, including schedule sequencing, resource planning, KPI validation, and handover to the Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) team.
- Provide technical due diligence input for new capital investments including, optimizing equipment integration and installation across Process, Packaging, and warehousing for Snacks and Beverage operations.
- Lead EMEA contractor management, including top-to-top reviews, ensuring OEMs are aligned with key regional priorities, with input from Design and Project Management teams.
- Develop deployment standards and gain OU alignment for newly qualified technology solutions, ensuring smooth integration into plant operations in partnership with the Project Management team.
- Support RFQ and tendering processes alongside the Design team, including OEM-specific detailed designs following capital expenditure approval.
- Offer subject matter expertise to OUs, addressing engineering operational challenges that require specialized input from the Process and Packaging Centres of Excellence.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with OU Engineering, Commercialization, Procurement, Supply Planning, and Operations to drive excellence in capital execution.
- Provide governance across the region to champion change management and ensure design standards are maintained and executed.
Qualifications
What will you need to succeed?
- 15+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environments with regional/multi-market exposure.
- 10+ years Project management experience; preferably with mid to large scale investments of $10MM-$50MM range
- Thorough understanding of snacks processing technologies (PC, TC, Extrusion, Quaker, RBS etc.) and Bev technologies (CSD, Aseptic, PET/Glass/Can etc.), along with solid knowledge of packaging, utilities, WWTP design and Warehousing aspects.
- Technical Degree or equivalent: Engineering (Civils, Mechanical & Electrical preferred); Proven leadership in developing and executing Engineering strategies across complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong expertise and ability to champion Engineering standards along with thorough understanding of dependencies with cross functional standards (QFS, EHS, Sustainability etc.); Innovative mindset, digitally savvy, bringing new ideas and experience driving Engineering technology transformation.
- Demonstrates strong networking skills internally and externally; Exemplary interpersonal skills with ability to engage global, regional, and local stakeholders. Team player, able to deal with uncertainty and complexity displaying cultural sensitivity across different cultures
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with fluency in English.
- Strategic and forward-thinking mindset, with the ability to lead long-term planning and short-term execution
