We are currently looking for a Senior Utility Engineer to join our Balıkesir Factory team.

Location: Balıkesir

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Senior Utility Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities;

• Ensuring optimal cost, highly efficient, quality and sustained generation and distribution of utilities for the factory operation. i.e. steam, refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, hygienic air handling and compressed air.
• Assist in the budgeting and cost monitoring of industrial services.
• Identifiy and drive energy and water saving opportunities.
• Manage external system integrators and contractors
• Ensure that all maintenance activities enhance people’s and product’s safety, product quality, protection of the environment and Operations performance, by providing engineering professional and technical leadership to the maintenance function (Total Performance Management – Project Management) in the factory.
• Aware of the Nestle IS (Industrial Services) standards and IS legislative requirements within the market.

Which profile are we looking for?

• Engineering Degree (mechanical, electrical, mechatronical etc.) or substantial practical experience in engineering
• Experience in at least one Industrial Services engineering discipline, preferably in food related manufacturing environment (min 3 years)
• Knowledge of local regulatory and statutory requirements relating to industrial services and environment
• Good knowledge of Asset maintenance
• Technical experience and knowledge for Compressed air, Refrigeration,Steam Systems, HVAC, Electricity
• Knowledge of Machinery Safety
• Knowledge of Culinary Steam
• Knowledge of Hygenic Engineering
• High voltage responsibility of SMM Certification is preferred
• Experience of capital investment projects & cost estimation for investments
• Energy management experience (Iso 50001 certification)
• Good knowledge of Management of Change
• Capability of technician team leadership
• Managing third party maintenance services.
• Experienced in planning, realising and managing the design, modification and improvement of industrial services plant, equipment and infrastructure
• Experienced in using own competence and expertise or competent 3rd parties. 
• Excellent command of English
• Living in Balıkesir or willing to move to Balıkesir
