Job Description
As a Senior Trainer & Technical Writer at Experian, you will facilitate the transfer of systems, and processing knowledge to achieve desired goals. This will involve organizing and conducting training and educational programs and creating different forms of documentation, including training programs, user manuals for the OTC Billing process, and Billing system user guides. You will work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and collaborate with our teams to ensure the accuracy of the content you develop. The documentation you produce will be aimed at diverse audiences, including internal employees, client services, sales operations, and compliance groups. You will report to the Finance Transformation Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive and clear technical documentation, including user guides, manuals, procedures, and reports tailored to the OTC Billing users.
- Review, edit, and refine documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency, following documentation standards.
- Engage with SMEs to develop and review program documentation and apply an understanding of the OTC Billing process to produce accurate technical content.
- Develop and produce content by using software applications that enhance technical learning output.
- Obtain an understanding of billing processes and services to translate complex billing flows into simple, informative, and engaging content that moves success.
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs to internal teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field – Required
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing with a focus on knowledge base content or process documentation.
- 2+ years minimum of experience directly related to training and development.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required due to the nature of the job, which may involve international communications and writing documentation in English.
- Technical Writer Skills: The ability to write clear and precise technical documentation is crucial. This includes drafting manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical reports, and other documents related to finance and audits.
- Capability to Provide Training and Develop Educational Content: Must have experience creating educational materials and training. You will develop relevant training content and present it to diverse audiences.

- SharePoint administration skills
- Financial services experience
