What will you be doing?

The Senior HR Advisor will provide comprehensive HR advisory services. The role is responsible for ensuring that all people-related processes are delivered in line with the company’s global practices while complying with local legislation (Turkish Labor Law No. 4857, Social Security – SGK, Occupational Health & Safety Law No. 6331, and Tax regulations). The Senior HR Advisor will partner with business leaders and HR colleagues across geographies to drive a consistent employee experience while supporting our people strategy.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Employee Relations & Advisory

  • Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees in Turkiye on employee relations issues.
  • Provide guidance on labor law compliance, grievance, disciplinary, absence, hybrid working, and family leave cases, escalating complex cases to the HR Business Partner.

2. Payroll, Compliance & Rewards

  • Support regular and shadow payroll processes, working with global payroll teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with reward policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submissions of Withholding Tax (WHT) and Social Security (SA) declarations, in cooperation with Finance.

3. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Support recruitment activities partnering with HRBP and global Talent Acquisition to deliver high-quality recruitment campaigns in Turkiye, using innovative and effective strategies.
  • Ensure all recruitment and selection processes reflect our global values, diversity, and inclusion standards while meeting local compliance requirements.

4. Performance, Compensation & Workforce Planning

  • Support the global performance management cycle, annual salary review, and talent calibration processes locally.
  • Support local workforce analytics and reports activities (headcount, payroll costs, absence trends) to local leadership and regional HR teams when needed.

5. Learning, Development & Engagement

  • Support and collaborate with the Learning & Development Team and local managers to deliver training on labor law, project dynamics, OHSE awareness etc.
  • Actively promotes a culture of learning, wellbeing, and employee engagement, ensuring alignment with the People initiatives.

6. HR Operations & Process Excellence

  • Partner with the Employee Services to ensure timely issuance of employment documentation and compliance with local law.
  • Contributes to the standardization and digitalization of HR processes, in line with global HR transformation initiatives.

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within international or oil & gas/energy companies.
  • Strong knowledge of Turkish Labor Law, OHSE Law, Tax Compliance and HR best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP HR modules and SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Recruiting, etc. modules).
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with payroll processes in Turkiye, including shadow payroll, WHT, and SA declarations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Fluency in English and Turkish is must (oral and written).
