About the role
The Sales Support Assistant plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient end-to-end process for the Retail Sales team. This role involves close collaboration with multiple internal departments to resolve operational issues and enhance the overall customer experience.
Key responsibilities
Working alongside the Sales Ingredients Department, the Sales Support Assistant will contribute to a variety of tasks aimed at improving service delivery and supporting business growth with managing some accounts directly.
- Manage communication flow from sales back into the internal functional teams such as Supply Chain, RD&A, Regulatory, Commercial Finance, Operations and the like.

- Regulatory Self-Service (Kerry Specs; SDS)
- Quotes Requests, tracking & Feedback
- Sample Requests, tracking & Feedback
- Support AM on Opportunity Creation & Updates
- General and Project Support
- Cover sales team When Travelling / Out of Office
- Annual Pricing (load pricing)
- Representing Commercial in Internal Cross functional Meetings
- Co-Ordinating Team Meetings
- Other Project Support
- Front Office to Middle Office Bridge
- Customer Forecast to Demand Planners
- Opportunity Probability update – S&OP
- Service Issues Logs & Status
- General Interaction with Middle office Teams on behalf of Commercial Teams
- Facilitation of credit collecting from customers (support Finance)
- Local sales import documents preparations such as ingredients list, labelling and declarations
- Creating new stock cards for local sales
- Preparation and receival of samples and cargo packages
- Leads & Customer Master data Management
- Ownership of New Leads
- Salesforce Contacts Create / Maintain
- SAP New Customer / Change Request Form
- Collaborate with relevant departments in existing and emerging processes related to the function; perform duties in alignment with Kerry’s values, demonstrating open-mindedness, inclusiveness, and ownership.
- Manage some customers when needed
Qualifications and skills
- Education Degree in Food Engineering is preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the flavour, ingredients and foodservice sector is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem Solving Ability to drive resolution to problems and issues in an expedient fashion
- Ability to remain calm and focused under stressful conditions.
- Know-how on advanced software, systems and IT tools
- Good Turkish Language (spoken and written)
- Good English Language (spoken and written)
- Good clerical and administration skills
- Good organizational skills
