We are now looking for a Sales Manager, Türkiye, Middle East and Caucasian Countries to join our UPM Raflatac Team in Istanbul.

What you will do

  • Manage medium-sized or large sales budget to meet designated sales and customer targets
  • Develop and implement sales plans, activities, and campaigns for an assigned geography, market segment, or customers (may lead a team of Sales Specialists)
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and targets
  • Monitor sales volume, revenues, payments, credit risks and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources
  • Negotiate sales with existing and potential customers and regularly liaise with customers
  • Manage and develop relationships with agencies to ensure fulfillment of agreed standards of service
  • Contribute to the development of sales, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility through provision of market intelligence and customer information

Who you are

  • You have university degree and minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • You have a broad knowledge of industrial market (B2B), product and services, sustainability and sales processes (experience in the packaging industry is a benefit)
  • You know and understand UPM Raflatac tools and sales methodologies
  • You are proficient in commercial, communication, interpersonal, prioritizing, networking and self-leadership skills
  • You have knowledge of change management
  • You speak both English and Turkish (Arabic is a benefit)
  • You have knowledge on Microsoft Office tools and experience in using SAP, Oracle and Salesforce
  • You have wide availability for travel domestic and abroad
