Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive, Group & Events to join our team in Istanbul, Türkiye. In this role, you will be responsible for driving group sales and event bookings, contributing to the overall success of our organization.

  • Proactively identify and pursue new group and event sales opportunities in the local and international markets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations to secure group bookings and events
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure all terms and conditions are met
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of group reservations and events
  • Conduct site inspections and property tours for potential clients
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions in the CRM system
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the hospitality or events industry
  • Experience in managing group bookings and coordinating events
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office programs
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of the hospitality and events industry
  • Understanding of group travel dynamics and event planning processes
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Turkish or other languages is a plus
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
