We are recruiting two Registration Officers to support the implementation of the “Sustainable Business Opportunities in Türkiye” Project in Hatay. The Registration Officers will support eligible businesses through the formal registration process, including verifying business eligibility, collecting and reviewing required documents, following up on missing or incomplete documentation, and coordinating closely with business owners throughout the registration process. They will track each case from initial verification through completion, maintain accurate and up-to-date records, and coordinate with the Project Coordinator, Finance and Administration Associate, and other project team members to ensure registration activities are completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end registration process for eligible businesses, from initial verification through completion of formal registration.
- Maintain organized records and databases of registered participants.
- Ensure thorough verification and compliance of all required documentation, including business licenses, municipal registrations, work permits, and social security (SGK) obligations
- Provide guidance and support to participants on registration requirements and compliance processes.
- Track the status of each business and ensure registration cases are followed up and completed within the required timelines.
- Coordinate closely with the Project Coordinator, Finance and Administration Associate, and other project team members on registration cases and required follow-up.
- Report any issues or inconsistencies promptly and recommend process improvements.
- Support outreach and communication with potential businesses and explain the registration support available through the project.
- Support coordination of registration activities for events, training sessions, and workshops.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and updates for program monitoring purposes.
Qualifications
- One position requires a native Turkish speaker, with Arabic preferred; the other requires a native Arabic speaker with strong proficiency in Turkish.
- Solid understanding of Türkiye’s business landscape, municipal registration requirements, and labor regulations.
- Demonstrated experience supporting MSMEs and refugee communities, with knowledge of their operational and regulatory challenges.
- Skilled in data collection, database management, and maintaining accurate records for reporting and monitoring purposes.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities to manage multiple registration processes efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable leveraging digital tools and platforms to facilitate registration, documentation, and reporting tasks.
- Travel & Driving: Must be able to travel within the project cities and hold a valid driving license.
Reporting Lines: Reports to Project Coordinator, Program Services Senior Coordinator.
Location: Hatay, Türkiye
Please note: This is a fully on-site position. Remote or hybrid work options are not available.
Contract Duration: Fixed-term contract until 30 Sep 2027
Travel: Occasional travel across project regions
Work Model: Full-time / On-site
