What you’ll do
- Develop and implement public policy agenda according to the company’s strategic priorities.
- Initiate and lead economic analysis of the industry and the competitors in order to develop a quantitate policy position.
- Following the trends in the ICT industry and prepare company position accordingly.
- Develop political engagement plans in accordance to the policy narrative with holistic stakeholder mapping.
- Follow and evaluate competitor activities, strategies and goals.
- Represent the company in engagements with the government bodies.
- Coordinate the relationship with industrial NGOs including M-TOD, TELKODER, YASED, TUSIAD etc.
- Research future policy and strategy issues for ICT Industries and new business areas.
- Enhance adopted approaches by following and identifying with commercial, technological and regulatory developments & trends in EU telecoms landscape.
- Providing input and guidance to internal business units regarding critical public policy queries.
- Develop and deliver messaging, speech materials, presentation materials that are used in internal and external engagement and communication.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Political Science or Engineering – Master Degree is a plus (MA, MBA)
- 5 – 7 years of professional work experience preferably in regulated industries, regulatory bodies or industry NGOs
- A deep understanding of the telecommunication industry (both mobile and fixed) and its drivers, functioning, dynamics and competitive environment
- Strong economic analysis and influential argumentation skills, analytical mind and innovative thinker
- Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders to solve complex issues internally and externally
- Enthusiasm in long run policy making processes with a detail and result oriented manner
- High self-drive and ownership with good communication, planning & organization skills
- Government and NGO engagement experience is a plus
- Passionate about industry and technology
- Excellent written and verbal skills both in Turkish and English – second foreign language is a plus
