Job Description:
- Contract Type: 2 year fixed term contract
- Program Coordination & Planning
- Develop, track, and update the master project plan for STEP across Airbus’ operations.
- Ensure alignment with key milestones of the STEP programme, coordinating updates with relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the reporting and steering committee governance
- Stakeholder Management
- Be the local support to liaise with the customer and partners to monitor the projects.
- Collect and share with the country manager the expectations of the customer and the local aerospace ecosystem.
- Engage and track progress with project teams under the coordination of the country manager.
- Risk & Performance Management
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring corrective actions are in place to keep STEP on schedule and on objectives and/or escalate appropriately.
- Generate frequent progress reports for the country manager and senior leadership, using data-driven metrics to measure efficiency gains and sustainability impact.
Requirements
- Education & Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
- Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2) is highly desirable.
- Professional Experience:
- 5 years experience in project management, preferably in the aviation sector.
- Solid understanding of Türkiye Aerospace ecosystem, or related fields.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Fluent in English and Turkish
- Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive collaboration across diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; comfortable with data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with project management and best practices in PMO methodology.
- Excellent communication skills in both Turkish and English (written and spoken).
- Added Advantages:
- Prior experience in aviation, aerospace, or automotive sectors.
- Knowledge of Turkish and international regulatory landscapes for IC&O
- Additional languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are a plus.
