Production Shift Engineer

This role supports production continuity and quality by promptly addressing machine breakdowns and stoppages, ensuring efficient line operations, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. It requires strong technical expertise in electropneumatic, PLC and robot programming, and data analysis to maintain and enhance manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities

• Work with shift and supports Line Technician and Production Shift Supervisor to intervene promptly to restart the machine in case of breakdown to guarantee the continuity of production without losing efficiency,
• Supports Line Technician and Production Shift Supervisor to intervene promptly to restart the machine in case of stoppages due to high PPM level to guarantee the zero-defect quality target,
• Guarantees the expected efficiency and quality standard by monitoring and ensuring the effectiveness of any intervention on the line,
• Supports line opening activities on time to guarantee production efficiency and quality,
• Supports serials change activities on time to guarantee production efficiency and quality,
• Ensures every tool for intervention is in perfect order and accessible,
• Reports the recurrent breakdowns to provide continuous improvement planning,
• Reports deviations to the Production EHV Production Manager promptly,
• Reports the trend graphs of deviations for breakdowns to maintain continuous process improvement,
• Provides hands-on support with Maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve extended downtime situations,
• Continuously improves the manufacturing equipment to ensure that throughput targets are achieved on a regular basis.

Requirements

• BS/MS Degree in Electrical Electronical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of production experience working with shift
• Advance Level of Electropneumatic knowledge
• Advance level of PLC Programming & Robot Programming Knowledge (Epson and Kuka)
• Analog Control and Discrete Logic Design
• Analog Electronic Knowledge
• Asynchronous Motor Drivers
• Camera and Image Processing
• Data Analysis
• Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
• Core Tools
• Traceability
• Product Functional Knowledge
• Computer skills in: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook etc., as well as various types of office equipment, SAP
• Fluent in English
