We are currently looking for a Production Engineer in Karacabey Nestle Health Science Team who is responsible for ensuring production plan is full achieved on time and in compliance with legal requirements meeting safety, quality, hygiene, cost and environment need.

Location: Karacabey, Bursa

Type of contract: Permanent

As a NHSc (Nestlé Health Science) Production Engineer you will have the following responsibilities;

  • Lead the safety culture and maintain a safe working environment in compliance with the Nestle guidlines and local laws striving for zero accidents. Coach and develop shopfloor safety behaviours
  • Ensure that all activities in the department are in line with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety and work place safety requirements; ensure that all procedures, instructions, all legal requirements etc. are implemented, developed and updated by regular checks
  • She/He is responsible from reporting the problems related with Food Safety Management System to the person to whom she/he directly reported to.
  • Ensure correct interpretation and application of all legal requirements across operations
  • Perform corrective/ preventive activities to solve quality problems in line with the guidelines
  • Monitor and improve line performance & major KPI’s (Key Performance Indicator)
  • Support industrial test runs together with project and Application Group Teams
  • To participate and follow the new installations /CAPEX (Capital Expenditure/Expense ) projects on the shop floor and also participate new product development processes as production contributor.
  • Monitor closely variance reports in thier respective area, act immediately in any deviations conducting loss analysis and define value creation project roadmap in line with category cost targets
  • Continuous development of production staff via in-class & on the job training
  • Facilitate & accelerate digitalization activities at plant
  • Involve at NCE (Nestlé Continuous Excellence) activities & lead TPM (Total Performance Management) step changes according to line needs

Which profile are we looking for?

  • Minimum 2 years experience preferably in aseptic production industry
  • Demonstrated capability to lead a group of people
  • Exposure to implementing continuous improvement and implementation experience of TPM
  • Experience in Change Management
  • Successful in leading projects involving different departments or functions
