Job Summary:

  • The Printing Account Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of printing services for assigned clients. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding client needs, managing print projects, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Printing Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact between the client and the printing company, coordinating with internal teams to deliver high-quality printing solutions on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • ​Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their main point of contact for all printing-related inquiries and requests.

  • Understand client needs, preferences, and objectives to provide tailored printing solutions.

  • Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on project status, gather feedback, and address any concerns.

Project Management:

  • Manage print projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all client requirements are met.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, including production, design, and quality control, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of print materials.

  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, proactively addressing any issues or delays that may arise.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling printing services to existing clients.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to generate leads, develop proposals, and secure new business opportunities.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify potential growth areas.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all printed materials meet quality standards and specifications agreed upon with clients.

  • Conduct quality checks on printed samples to verify accuracy, color consistency, and print quality.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage budgets for printing projects, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.

  • Monitor expenses and revenue associated with printing accounts, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

Education & Experience Recommended:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 4-5 years of work experience, preferably in account management, tele sales, product specialty (computers, printers, servers, storage), or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
