Overview

Lead the Turkey Potato Operations and Procurement , Corn and Corn Grits program growth agenda through the development and implementation of a sustainable PEP+ aligned potato sourcing strategy, that drives transformational productivity and sets up the potato supply value chain for future growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end operations and procurement for Potato, Corn, and Corn Grits from seed supply to delivery at plants, ensuring sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective sourcing aligned with PepsiCo’s PEP+ strategy.
  • Manage contracted and spot purchasing processes for potato, corn, and corn grits in line with Annual Operating Budget targets.
  • Oversee supplier management and development, including negotiations, performance tracking, and compliance with PepsiCo’s global standards.
  • Plan and execute strategic, annual, and daily supply planning for potato, corn, and corn grits to ensure uninterrupted production at plants.
  • Lead storage and warehouse operations, including potato intake, storing, dispatch, and quality control.
  • Manage transportation operations and bidding processes, in collaboration with the Purchasing department, ensuring timely and cost-efficient logistics.
  • Ensure quality management for potato and corn; covering field production, testing, storage, and Vendor Assurance program execution.
  • Drive seed production and localization projects for potato and manage corn seed supply to secure long-term sustainability.
  • Oversee fertilizer and chemical purchasing and distribution in coordination with the Procurement department.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for supplier capability building, agronomy improvement, sustainability, and best practice adoption.
  • Manage Agro department budgets, cost reporting, and financial performance tracking.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop team members across multiple locations, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Food Engineering, or a related field.
  • Business-oriented agronomist mindset and ability to combine technical expertise with strategic and commercial thinking.
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles to support cost management and business decision-making.
  • Proven experience in leading large teams.
  • Fluency in Turkish and English (both written and spoken) is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven commercial acumen and strong negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing complex stakeholder and supplier relationships.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Turkey.
