The Modality Sales Leader will be responsible for driving revenue growth in GEHC Ultrasound business within the assigned geographical (Turkey and Iran) through strategic planning of business development activities, execution of marketing campaigns, and building strong relationships with customers, channel partners and key opinion leaders. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends as well as excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have experience working within the medical imaging industry with a proven track record of success in sales management roles.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to increase Ultrasound sales by identifying new markets, expanding existing ones, and improving customer satisfaction.

Build rapport and strong collaboration with the channel partners to lead opportunities, respond customers’ clinical and technical questions, develop and present solution proposal and quotations

Be accountable to achieve product order and sales OP target for the assigned territory

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support for existing products.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies related to Ultrasound systems and accessories.

Build relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare organizations, and government agencies to advocate for GE Healthcare’s products and services.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for all aspects of Ultrasound sales and marketing activities.

Conduct regular performance reviews to assess progress towards departmental objectives and adjust strategies accordingly.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent relevant work experience. Master’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales management roles preferably within the medical imaging industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically while also being able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Knowledge of clinical workflows and procedures related to Ultrasound modalities.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations governing medical device manufacturers and distributors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Presentation skills, ability to present remotely and drive customer engagement using digital tools i.e. MS Teams, Zoom etc.
  • Fluent in English
