Role Overview

Lead the design and development of structural components, ensuring optimal aerodynamic performance and structural integrity.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, materials, manufacturing, and quality to ensure the successful integration of structural component into designs.
  • Build and exercise physics-based static and dynamic finite element models to optimize the performance, reliability, and durability of structural components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, interface requirements, and validation reports.
  • Oversee the testing and validation of structural components, ensuring compliance with industry standards, design practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance and cost-effectiveness of structural components.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and maintenance teams to ensure the successful production and operation of structural components. Assist the engine assembly team during borescope inspection.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to structural components.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate (3/4 year), Master or Doctorate (not completed) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering
  • Fundamental understanding of mechanical design and at least one finite element and modeling tool (e.g., ANSYS, Unigraphics, SolidWorks).
  • Coding skills (Python language is preferred)
  • Good command of English & Turkish (reading/writing).
  • Good command of MS Office Skills (especially MS Excel and MS Power point).
