Key Responsibilities

  • Investment Planning & Financial Analysis
    • The role involves leading comprehensive investment planning initiatives by conducting in-depth financial and strategic analyses to support business growth and long-term profitability.
    • Role owner will be responsible for performing detailed feasibility studies that integrate both technical and financial perspectives to evaluate the viability of new projects and investment opportunities. This includes developing robust capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and resource availability.
    • To carry out thorough cost-benefit analyses and return on investment (ROI) evaluations to guide decision-making processes, providing clear insights into potential risks and returns. A key aspect of the role is building and maintaining sophisticated, risk-adjusted financial models that support investment decisions and scenario planning.
    • Additionally, role owner will monitor and manage cash flow forecasts, ensuring that funding requirements are accurately projected and aligned with project timelines and strategic priorities.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control of CAPEX and OPEX budgets
    • In this role, responsibility is preparing accurate initial cost estimates and developing comprehensive project budgets that serve as a baseline for financial performance. You will continuously track and analyze project expenditures against approved budgets, ensuring transparency and accountability across all phases of the project lifecycle.
    • Proactively identifying budget variances, investigate root causes, and implement effective corrective actions to keep projects on track financially. A strong focus will be placed on cost optimization, where opportunities will be identified to reduce expenses without compromising on quality, safety, or delivery timelines.
    • Furthermore, role owner will maintain detailed cost reports and develop financial dashboards that provide real-time insights into project performance, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions. Having ability to communicate financial data clearly and effectively will be essential in supporting cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis and ROI evaluations,
    • Responsible for conducting comprehensive cost-benefit analyses to assess the financial and strategic value of proposed projects, investments, and initiatives. This includes identifying, quantifying, and comparing all relevant costs—such as capital expenditures, operational expenses, and indirect costs—against expected benefits, including revenue generation, cost savings, efficiency gains, and intangible advantages.
    • In this role, development of detailed financial models to evaluate return on investment (ROI), internal rate of return (IRR), net present value (NPV), and payback periods, ensuring that all assumptions are well-documented and aligned with market conditions and organizational objectives.
    • Performing sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess the impact of key variables, risks, and uncertainties on financial outcomes.
    • Analyzing the data-driven decision-making by providing clear, actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, operations, and commercial departments—to validate inputs and ensure that financial evaluations accurately reflect technical and operational realities. Additionally, you will continuously refine models and methodologies to improve accuracy, consistency, and alignment with best practices and industry standards. Supporting investment decisions with risk-adjusted financial models, Monitoring cash flow forecasts and funding requirements. Preparing initial cost estimates and detailed project budgets, tracking project expenditures vs. approved budgets, identifying variances and implement corrective actions, optimizing costs without compromising quality or timelines, maintain cost reports and financial dashboards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Construction, Mechanical or related field)
  • 5+ years of experience in project/investment management
  • Strong understanding of project finance, budgeting, and cost control
  • Experience with contract management processes
  • Project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Advanced level of English language
  • Ability to live in İstanbul or Kocaeli
