YOUR IMPACT

As a Lead Solution Consultant within OpenText’s Cybersecurity Solutions team, you will be at the forefront of helping customers and partners build resilience against cyber threats. You will secure technical wins, promote OpenText solutions, and guide organizations in safeguarding their critical assets while ensuring compliance and continuity amid unforeseen cyber events. Leveraging your deep technical expertise, you will deliver impactful sales presentations, lead solution demonstrations, conduct technical evaluations (POCs), and serve as a trusted advisor to both technical and executive stakeholders.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • The opportunity to become a subject matter expert in OpenText’s cybersecurity solution portfolios, including Application Security, Security Operations, Identity and Access Management, and Data Security—with training and mentorship provided.
  • A highly collaborative role working closely with Account Executives, Solutions Consultants, partners, and customers to drive revenue growth and customer success.
  • Ownership of technical solutioning, including conducting deep-dive assessments, leading demonstrations, and designing tailored cybersecurity solutions.
  • The chance to shape customer strategies around Microsoft 365, Azure AD, encryption, data loss prevention, and cloud-based data security practices.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (advanced coursework preferred) and 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • CISSP certification is desired.

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of the IT data and cyber threat landscape.
  • Hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions, including awareness of potential AI-related security threats.
  • Proficiency in network technologies, protocols, administration, virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM), and SaaS services (O365, Salesforce, Dynamics).
  • Expertise in data security and protection—including encryption, DLP, threat intelligence, and incident response.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations: GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, DKIM/DMARC.
  • Proficiency with threat detection and mitigation tools such as SIEM, XDR, and EDR.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), governance, and administration.
  • Familiarity with data governance and protection practices.
  • Working knowledge of Application Security, API integration, container security, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
  • Competency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Demonstrated ability to act independently, make critical decisions, and design innovative technical solutions.
  • A consultative approach with proven success influencing both technical and business stakeholders, including C-level executives.
