About the location:

Join our Team

Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus is looking for a dedicated and service-oriented Lead Hostess to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team.

In this important role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome, smooth seating flow, and exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, coordinate the restaurant’s seating plan, support service operations, and represent the gracious professionalism that defines Four Seasons hospitality.

What you will do:

  • Manage and accurately record all restaurant reservations, ensuring proper guest communication and seating plans.
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Monitor dining room flow to optimize seating, table turnover, and guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth and timely operations.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, accommodate special requests, and handle concerns with poise and efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain the hostess desk, reservation book, menus, and guest materials.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to track table readiness and wait times.
  • Assist in organizing and updating daily reports, guest preferences, and operational information.
  • Support opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the entrance, podium, and surrounding areas.
  • Uphold Four Seasons grooming standards, punctuality, and service excellence.
  • Participate in required trainings and departmental meetings.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the F&B Supervisor or Outlet Manager.

What you bring:

  • Minimum high school diploma; university degree preferred.
  • Preferably 2–3 years of experience in hotel Food & Beverage operations.
  • Strong knowledge of F&B products and restaurant service standards.
  • Excellent communication and guest-relations skills.
  • Advanced command of English and Turkish.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with reservation/POS systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with grace and professionalism.
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and high level of self-motivation.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
