Pay Range: Hire rate: $22.35, 6 month $22.92, 1 year $23.87
Job Responsibilities
1. Completion of HACCP pre-shipment reviews for the assigned shift
2. Notification of plant management should issue be found
3. Maintenance of all files for the plant’s HACCP plans
4. Monthly HACCP I.D. V. recaps & monthly SSOP performance recaps
5. Maintenance of plant’s violation database (HACCP, SSOP, Meat age & Process Deviations)
6. Label supply verifications & final label verification reviews for the assigned shift
7. Maintenance of all required files for this program
8. Monthly plant performance reporting for the assigned shift
9. Knowledge of QA Tech responsibilities
10. Carry out duties as assigned by the QA Manager or QA Supervisor
11. Work actions and attendance to be weighed factors in this process
12. Will be required to cover all technician’s positions
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent organizational skills
- High degree of written & oral communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry & report development)
- Excellent math skills
- Plant processing knowledge
- PHYSICAL: Ability to work in the plant environment & be able to twist, lift 45 pounds occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous QA experience
- Knowledge in product labeling requirements
- Statistical Process Control knowledge & experience
- Fully trained in HACCP principles
