We are looking for a “IMPORT SUPERVISOR” to join our team!

Reporting to Import & Homologation Manager, the main responsibilities and specifications for the role are shared below;

  • Leading import operations for spare parts in line with business plan, budget and performance targets.
  • Ensuring full compliance with customs laws and regulations together with customs brokers and consultants.
  • Coordinating customs clearance operations with the team and customs brokers.
  • Preparing monthly import costs reports and following up with Import Manager.
  • Supporting pricing process through article level landed cost simulations
  • Determining the improvement potentials within the department and being a bridge between the relevant stakeholders in Import and Logistics department.
  • Improving the logistics systems with adapting new digital solutions in corporate with Logistics department.
  • Being responsible for all company insurance policies (Property, Liability, Casualty, Travel, Traffic & Motor, Marine Transport (excl health & life insurances). Managing policy renewals and claims applications processes.
  • Investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling claims with relevant parties ensuring reasonable reimbursement from insurance companies. Executing and ensuring with the Finance department timely settlement of insurance premiums and invoices. Making a monthly reconciliation with the accounting department and insurance companies.
  • Managing the process of obtaining all legal permits such as TSE-GEKAP and responding to legal notifications under the responsibility of the department.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree (4 year Bachelor’s degree)
  • Minimum 5 years with experience in import operations
  • Knowledge of Ministry applications and Import regulations
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken
  • Good command of MS Office applications
  • Analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Good team player with strong communication skills
