About the role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Import & Export Specialist to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end international logistics and customs operations — ensuring seamless coordination of shipments, timely customs clearance, and accurate documentation. Your hands-on involvement will directly impact product availability, cost efficiency, and service quality across our global trade activities.
Your responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end import and export operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods in full compliance with international trade regulations
- Act as the primary point of contact for hauliers, customs brokers, bonded warehouses, and factories, ensuring smooth communication and operational coordination
- Coordinate customs documentation and invoice payments to prevent clearance delays, while ensuring cost accuracy and alignment with budget and contracts
- Ensure the timely availability of customs documents before truck arrivals to avoid logistical disruptions
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies such as damaged or missing goods through structured reporting, stakeholder coordination, and regular performance tracking
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize freight and customs operations
The experience we’re looking for
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Import & Export Operations
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, shipping documentation, and trade compliance
- Experience with SAP and other logistics tracking systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and proactive approach.
- Knowledge of multimodal logistics processes (road, sea, air)
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with international factories, logistics providers, and internal teams, and custom brokers.
