Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Housekeeping Office Coordinator to join our team in Istanbul, Türkiye. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel.
- Coordinate and provide administrative support to all areas of the Housekeeping department, including office opening and closing, daily room assignments, and shift briefings
 - Manage guest requests and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring all affected departments are notified through the guest log
 - Work collaboratively with all hotel departments, maintaining excellent relationships and communicating daily updates and changes
 - Ensure Room Attendants are informed about priorities in their section and maintain high morale and productivity levels through detailed communication and training
 - Monitor and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
 - Assist in scheduling and coordinating housekeeping staff assignments
 - Implement and maintain departmental policies and procedures
 - Report necessary maintenance items and monitor service standards
 - Assist in training new housekeeping staff members
 - Participate in regular quality inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards
 - Handle any additional tasks or projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager
 
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in hotel Housekeeping or Front Desk operations
 - High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in Hospitality Management is a plus
 - Proficiency in English and Turkish (verbal & written) is essential
 - Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems
 - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
 - Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
 - Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic computer skills
 - Knowledge of housekeeping operations, standards, and best practices
 - Experience in scheduling and inventory management
 - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
 - Customer-focused mindset with a professional and friendly demeanor
 - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
