Join our Team

Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus is looking for a dedicated and reliable Gardener to join our Engineering team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the care, maintenance, and presentation of all indoor and outdoor plants and landscaped areas of the hotel. With attention to detail and respect for safety and quality standards, you will help ensure that our gardens and green spaces reflect the beauty and elegance of the Four Seasons environment.

What you will do:

• Maintain, water, plant, prune, and remove all indoor and outdoor plants and landscaped areas of the hotel.
• Prepare soil and carry out seasonal planting in accordance with landscape plans.
• Perform pest control and plant protection treatments when required.
• Operate and maintain sprinkler and irrigation systems.
• Ensure plants remain healthy, green, and well-presented at all times.
• Support and supervise external contractors working in garden and landscape areas.
• Assist the Engineering Department with moving materials and equipment when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all hotel rules, procedures, safety, and emergency standards; report any accidents immediately.
• Protect hotel tools, equipment, keys, and materials with care.
• Monitor stock levels and report equipment or material needs in a timely manner.
• Attend required trainings and meetings (e.g., occupational safety, working at heights, etc.).
• Work professionally, cooperatively, and support team members when assistance is needed.
• Carry out additional duties or projects as assigned by supervisors or hotel management.

What you bring:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Gardener or in a similar role.
• High school diploma preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Basic knowledge of plant care, landscaping, irrigation, and gardening tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Strong sense of responsibility, organization, and teamwork.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and hotel standards.
• Flexibility to support departmental needs when required.
