Are you ready to deliver hands-on technical expertise across Turkey and the EMEA region?
JBT Marel is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to support our customers across Turkey and the wider EMEA region. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise advanced food processing equipment, ensuring maximum performance and reliability for our customers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with customer interaction in a highly international environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities at customer sites across Turkey and EMEA
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on advanced processing equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to maximise equipment uptime and operational efficiency
- Support customers with operational, maintenance, and technical guidance
- Deliver training to operators and maintenance teams on equipment operation and best practices
- Prepare accurate service reports, technical documentation, and follow-up recommendations
- Identify spare parts requirements and recommend upgrades or improvements where appropriate
- Collaborate with internal engineering, technical support, and project teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Support larger installation and upgrade projects across the EMEA region when required
About You
You are a hands-on and solution-oriented engineer who enjoys travelling, solving technical challenges, and building strong customer relationships. You thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable working independently while remaining closely connected to a wider international team.

- A structured and professional approach to reporting and documentation
Experience & Education
- Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Experience working in field service, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems with electrical fault-finding capability
- Experience within food processing or automated industrial equipment is an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Fluent Turkish and good English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Valid driving licence and passport required
