About the Project:

The project aims to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and job seekers in Adana from both the host community and Syrian refugees. The project includes activities such as legal business registration and licensing, legal counseling, entrepreneurship training, employment support, job matching, and cash grants for eligible businesses.

The project places a strong emphasis on inclusion, with a particular focus on encouraging the participation of women, youth, and persons with disabilities and supporting their access to business and employment opportunities.

 

Job Summary:

We are looking for a committed Field Officer to support the implementation of project activities in Adana. The Field Officer will be responsible for field follow-up, beneficiary support, coordination, and liaison with companies, municipalities, chambers, legal institutions, and other relevant stakeholders. The Field Officer will support activities related to MSME registration and licensing, employment, entrepreneurship training, and cash grants. The position requires strong communication and liaison skills to ensure effective coordination between beneficiaries, employers, project partners, and relevant institutions.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct field visits to identify and engage MSME owners, job seekers, employers, and other project beneficiaries.
  2. Support the implementation of employment activities, including coordination with companies, job seekers, interviews, job matching, and employment follow-up.
  3. Coordinate and support entrepreneurship trainings, legal awareness sessions, and other project
  4. Support beneficiaries throughout the legal registration and licensing process and provide regular follow-up and guidance.
  5. Support the implementation and follow-up of cash grant activities for eligible businesses, including field verification and required documentation.
  6. Act as a key liaison point between SARD, beneficiaries, companies, municipalities, chambers of commerce, legal institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
  7. Build and maintain good working relationships with companies and relevant local stakeholders to support project implementation.
  8. Maintain regular communication with beneficiaries and stakeholders and follow up on pending actions and cases.
  9. Prepare weekly field reports and maintain accurate beneficiary records, data entry, and project
  10. Pay special attention to the inclusion and engagement of women, youth, and persons with disabilities in project activities.
  11. Monitor field implementation and beneficiary progress to ensure activities are implemented according to the project work plan and timeline.
  12. Attend coordination, stakeholder, or donor meetings when requested by the line
  13. Verify financial payment requests and logistical needs related to field activities and coordinate with relevant departments for timely implementation.
  14. Support coordination within the field team and contribute to solving implementation
  15. Carry out other project-related tasks as requested by the line

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience working with NGOs or INGOs, preferably in livelihoods, employment, MSME support, or field implementation.
  2. Strong liaison, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with companies, municipalities, chambers, beneficiaries, and other relevant stakeholders.
  3. Experience in field outreach, beneficiary follow-up, and coordination with different
  4. Good organizational skills and ability to manage several cases and follow-up actions at the same
  5. Good report writing and documentation
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and digital tools used for fieldwork and
  7. Fluency in Turkish and Arabic is English is an advantage.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a team and in multicultural
  9. Ability and willingness to conduct regular field visits across
  10. Experience in employment, job matching, business registration, entrepreneurship, or cash grant activities is an advantage.
