Join our Team
Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Server Assistant – Room Service to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team.
In this essential role, you will support the Room Service team in delivering food and beverage orders, setting up trays and tables, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. With a commitment to excellence and teamwork, you will help provide our guests with a seamless, refined, and memorable in-room dining experience that reflects the legendary Four Seasons service standards.
What you will do:
- Assist Room Service Servers with the delivery and setup of food and beverage items to guest rooms.
- Set up, clear, and clean trays, tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware for service.
- Retrieve trays and tables promptly after service and ensure guest corridors are kept tidy and free of debris.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, pantries, and stations at all times.
- Handle hotel equipment carefully to minimize breakage and loss.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures according to Four Seasons standards.
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, adhering to payroll, uniform, and grooming guidelines.
- Work professionally and respectfully with co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
- Maintain a positive, guest-focused attitude while supporting efficient team operations.
- Perform any other duties or special projects assigned by the Room Service Manager or supervisors.
What you bring:
- Graduate of a Hotel and Tourism Vocational High School or equivalent education.
- No prior experience required – this is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is preferred.
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Basic command of English is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently when needed.
- Familiarity with five-star hotel service standards and etiquette is an asset.
- Physically able to lift and carry trays safely.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
