Responsible for electrical maintenance activities in terms of corrective , planned and predictive maintenance scopes. Management of the outsourced maintenance activities. Application and execution of energy management with the responsibility of “Plant Energy Manager”

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute maintenance schedules for electrical systems (LV/MV/HV)
  • Troubleshoot faults and ensure minimal downtime
  • Oversee transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and control panels
  • Ensure proper documentation of all electrical assets
  • Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, local codes)
  • Conduct risk assessments and enforce lockout/tagout procedures
  • Manage external service providers and maintenance contractors
  • Review and approve technical work and reports

Energy Management Responsibilities

  • Track electricity consumption using meters and energy management systems
  • Analyze usage trends and identify inefficiencies
  • Develop and implement initiatives to reduce energy consumption
  • Optimize load distribution and power factor
  • Ensure compliance with energy regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 50001)
  • Prepare energy performance reports for management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant engineering departments.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance at industrial manufacturing plants.
  • Experience at applications and executions of energy efficiency systems.
  • Having “High Voltage Plants Operating Responsibility Certification”
  • Having “Energy Manager Certificate”
  • Ability to live in İstanbul or Kocaeli

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong technical expertise in electrical maintenance , automation, digitalization and High Voltage applications
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze supplier quality issues and drive effective root cause resolution
  • Experience with supplier audits, NCR management, and corrective action processes
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan, document, and execute quality improvement initiatives
  • Effective cross-functional and supplier engagement skill
  • Having Siemens, Beckhoff or ABB PLC, Drive training certification is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills
  • Good knowledge of PLC and SCADA programming
