Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and goal-oriented Director of Spa to join our luxury wellness team in Istanbul, Türkiye. As the leader of our spa operations, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative wellness strategies that align with our brand’s commitment to exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive spa and wellness strategy that enhances our luxury positioning and drives business growth
  • Oversee all aspects of spa operations, ensuring the highest standards of service quality, guest satisfaction, and team performance
  • Create unique and personalized wellness experiences that reflect local culture and cater to our discerning clientele
  • Lead and mentor a team of spa professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Manage the spa’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue targets
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement effective promotional strategies and partnerships
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Drive sustainability initiatives within the spa, promoting responsible luxury in all aspects of operations
  • Represent the spa in media opportunities, VIP briefings, and industry events
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to maintain the spa’s competitive edge in the luxury wellness market

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in spa management or luxury hospitality, with a focus on strategic leadership and operational excellence
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience in P&L management, budgeting, and revenue optimization
  • Exceptional team leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing spa team
  • Expertise in creating and implementing innovative wellness programs and personalized guest experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in spa management software and digital technologies used in luxury wellness environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Relevant spa management certifications (preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of luxury spa and wellness industry trends, treatments, and best practices
  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of Turkish language and culture highly advantageous
  • Understanding of local regulations and health standards in Istanbul and Turkey
  • Demonstrated ability to drive marketing initiatives and build strategic partnerships in the wellness industry
  • Commitment to sustainability and ethical practices in spa operations
